Privacy Policy

What we collect

• What you enter when you book online: passenger name, phone number, email, pickup and drop-off places and times, flight number, passenger count, luggage and notes.
• Messages in the chat on your “My order” page, and replies from our team and the driver.
• What you give us when you contact us by phone, WeChat, email or WhatsApp.
• Payment is made at the Stripe checkout: card numbers are entered only on Stripe's page and never pass through or stay on this site.
• Access logs our web server keeps as any website does (for example IP address, browser type and time of visit), used for security and troubleshooting.
• Visitor statistics (Google Analytics): used to see which country or region visitors come from, which pages they view and what device they use. Google uses cookies to recognise the same browser, estimates your approximate location from your connection address, and receives the addresses of the pages you view here; the trip fields in the address (places, date and time) are removed before it is sent. We only use the combined statistics to understand how the site is used, we do not send your name, phone, email or address to Google Analytics, and Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off.

What we use it for

• Assigning a vehicle and chauffeur and picking you up at the agreed time and place.
• Sending payment and booking confirmation emails and your own order link.
• Contacting you before and after the trip, and handling rescheduling, cancellation, refunds, follow-up and complaints.
• Translating chat messages into the other side's language so you can write in your own.
• Understanding how the site is used (for example which country or region visitors come from and which pages they view) so we can improve it; we look at summary statistics only and do not use them to identify individuals.
• Keeping or providing data where the law requires it.

We use the data only for these purposes; we do not use it for anything unrelated without your consent, and we do not sell it.

Who sees it

• Midsky dispatch and customer service staff, to arrange your trip and answer enquiries.
• The chauffeur for your trip, who receives what is needed to complete it, such as passenger name, phone number, pickup and drop-off places and times, and flight number.
• Online payments are collected on our behalf by MAYLINE TRAVEL SERVICES LIMITED (Hong Kong) through Stripe Checkout, and payment data are processed through its Stripe checkout, so they are transferred to Hong Kong; orders are handled by Midsky.
• WhatsApp conversations you send us are currently received and handled by the customer service team of MAYLINE TRAVEL SERVICES LIMITED (Hong Kong).
• Stripe, the payment provider, to process your payment.
• Google (Google Analytics), the visitor-statistics provider, which processes the statistics and may keep them outside Macau.
• Competent authorities, where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep data for as long as needed to provide the service and handle after-sales matters (such as refunds and complaints), and for any period the law requires; after that it is deleted or made no longer identifiable.

What is stored in your browser

So you can reopen your booking, “My order” stores your order link in your own browser. On a shared computer or phone, you can remove it from the device when you are done.

Visitor statistics leave Google Analytics cookies in your browser. You can block cookies in your browser settings or use an ad blocker to disable the tag; booking and payment still work when it is blocked.

Access, correction and contact

Under Law No. 8/2005 you may ask to access or correct your personal data, or object to unnecessary use. Email info@midsky.com.mo or call (853) 2893 0032; to protect your data we will verify your identity first.
